We're thrilled to announce our partnership with The Des Moines Public Schools where you can trade in your old, gently used backpack to us, and get $20 off of a backpack of your choosing. 

How does your trade in program work?

Treat your shopping experience the same way that you normally would! Simply add your backpack to your cart, and enter in a note advising us that you have a backpack that you’d like to trade in. Once we receive your order, we will reach out via email to explain the process. We cover the shipping cost for you to send in your gently used backpack, and once we receive it, we will inspect it for quality within 1 to 2 business days.

Once we have inspected the bag, we will contact you directly to let you know if it falls within the school district’s quality standards. If approved, a refund of $20 will be issued to your original payment method used during checkout. It’s that easy!

Your gently used bag will then be donated directly to the Des Moines Public Schools to disperse to a student in need of school supplies to promote academic success. This is only the first step of many that Tilted Compass plans to participate in: stay tuned for more news on how you can help us impact our future leaders!
